What Are The Fees For A Donation To CEMCO Through JustGive?

When you make a donation to a charity through JustGive, we deduct a 4.5% processing fee to cover transaction costs and credit card processing fees, as well as a $0.35 flat fee. These fees are deducted from the donation before payment is sent to the charity.

Note that is if you come from a JustGive Donate button or link on a charity’s website (e.g. http://npo.justgive.org…), the $.35 cent flat fee is waived.

Note: You have the option at checkout to cover the 4.5% processing fee (and if applicable, the $0.35 flat fee) for your donation, which enables 100% of your donation amount to reach the charity.

Is There A Minimum Donation Amount On JustGive?

The minimum donation on JustGive is $10.

Can I Print The Gift Or Memorial Notification From My Donation?

Yes, to print out the gift or memorial notification, please do the following:

  1. Log into your account. If you are already logged in, click the “View Donor Account” link in the upper right corner.
  2. Click on “View Details” next to the transaction.
  3. In the View Details donation window, look for “Resend or Print this gift notification email”. Then click on “Print”.

What Do I Enter In The ‘Program’ Section When Making A Donation?

The program section is optional. If there is a specific fund or program at CEMCO to which you would like your designate your donation, enter it there (e.g. "Gap Campaign - Furniture" or "Gap Campaign – Montessori Materials"). If there is nothing specific you can leave that section blank or select General Fund.

Can I Donate By Check Through JustGive?

No, JustGive does not accept checks for payment. If you wish to pay by check, please donate directly to the charity.

How Long Does It Take For CEMCO To Receive My Donation That I Make Through JustGive?

Once a month, JustGive sends a check to each charity that receives a donation. The checks go out on the 10th of the month following the month that the donations were made in. For example if you make a donation in December it will get mailed to the charity on January 10th.

When Do I Receive My Receipt For My Donation On JustGive?

Once your donation has been processed, JustGive will send you a receipt via email. All donations made through JustGive also appear in your online account. To view donations for any given year, and view or reprint your receipts, visit your online Giving History if you created an online account.

Will I Get A Tax Receipt From CEMCO In Addition To The Receipt I Get From JustGive?

JustGive issues your official tax receipt at the time your donation is completed.

Is My Donation Safe And Secure?

Yes, all donations made to CEMCO through JustGive are secure. JustGive’s website security is provided by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a recognized authentication and encryption software. For more information, please read our Privacy & Security Statement.

I Can’t Complete My Donation On JustGive. What Should I Do?

There are many reasons why a donation might fail. You can first try to repeat the donation in a different web browser; we recommend Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. If you still get an error, please take a screenshot of the error or copy the text and JustGive https://justgive.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new for assistance. You can attach the screenshot through the request or enter the error text into the description. We will do our best to help you complete the donation.

How Can I Cancel A Donation Or Get A Refund On A Donation I Made Through JustGive?

All donations made through JustGive are non-refundable. However, if for some reason there is an error on your credit card, please JustGive https://justgive.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new with your transaction ID from your donation receipt and JustGive will help resolve the problem.
