APPLICATION / ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in Coastal Empire Montessori! We are pleased that you are considering applying to our program. We offer a free, public, charter school program for Kindergarten – 5th Grade (K-5) and an associated, integrated Georgia Pre-K4 program.

Coastal Empire Montessori is the first & long-time only Montessori charter school in the state of Georgia, and it is important that prospective families educate themselves about our mission and methodology so that our relationship with you and your child(ren) can be a long and constructive one.

Submitting an application enters the student into a random-draw lottery, which will be held on April 7, 2026, virtually via Facebook Live. Chatham County residency is the only application requirement, and preference will be given in the drawing to siblings of currently-enrolled students and children of school staff and board trustees.

Selected applicants will receive all necessary information regarding registration, enrollment, orientation, and other next steps after the lottery. Waitlisted applicants will receive information about waitlist status and procedures at the same time. It is important that CEMCS is kept apprised of all changes in contact information to ensure that applications can be processed and registrations can be maintained. CEMCS respects the right of privacy of all prospective students and families and honors the confidentiality of all information received as part of the admissions process.
